Hi. I've lived in TO for several years now, but just recently came across this site.

How often do you guys play at Rosedale park? I see that some people played yesterday (Apr 16), but is there a game every Sunday or does it change every week? Also, how many people generaly show up?

I've played soccer pretty much all my life on and off (I'm in my late 20's) and was looking for some pick-up games to start up this season till my league games starts in end of May.

Hi sT and welcome to soccer Toronto! We have opened the 2006 soccer season pick up game at Rosedale on Sun, Apr 16th. We do play every Sunday from 12:00 weather permitting! There are also games held on every Saturdays (2:00 pm) at Eglinton Park. Get in shape and keep an eye on this forum for updates. This year, Rosedale games feature two exceptional high technical Japanese soccer players (Reo and Daisuke) while Eglinton Park games feature a named speedy Count/Carlo! It is simply much fun to see them performing! Don't miss it!

Esaie, thank you for your reply! Ha, what a coincidence! I say that because I’m a Japanese also. Well, I’ve been in Canada for over 10 years now, so I’m pretty Canadianized (if that’s a word). I don’t think I can be a featured player like other fellow Japanese players as you mentioned, but I’ll see if I can manage my schedule to come out on upcoming weekends.
