 Post subject: Pick Up @ St Clair and Spadina next to St Clair West Subway
We are a group of friends who have regular pick-up soccer games on Monday, Wednesdays and Fridays starting at 7pm pm to 8:45pm
Men and Women of all ages are welcome to participate.Just bring a light or dark t-shirts and your playing gear. Water fountain is available onsite.
We play at the Sir Winston Churchill Park (field next to Tennis Courts).
Message me to let us know how many people will turn out. Depending on turn out, we will bring out large portable soccer nets.

We had a good turnout for Wednesday.
Come on and join us today for 7pm game.
The nearest Subway station is St Clair West. (park is 1 block east)

Yes, friday games are still on. We are adding one more weekday to our meets.
We tried adding this location to be listed as another permanent soccer pick-up location but the admin for this board is way too slow.

Our group is adding Monday as another gameday.
We are now playing Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays
Scheduled start time: 7pm.

I've created a facebook app called Pickup Games.. it can be used for managing or finding pickup games.. You can post public games, or create private ones (for only people you invite), and it even has a google map feature where you can show the location of the court. It also has a feature where you can receive e-mail (and cellphone txt msgs) when new games are posted for a specific field or sport.
I just released it to the public last week, but I'm hoping that it'll soon have a good listing of games.. so that people can easily find games/fields in their neighbourhoods.
Feel free to check it out.. and let me know if there's anything I can add/change to make it more user-friend or useful.

thanks for the invite, but you are under the assumption everyone likes facebook.
I have a facebook profile but i check only 1 per month and not about join the club of annoying facebook spammers

no prob.. I only suggested it, since I thought it could bring more people out to your games and it'd help you find other pick up games nearby (or elsewhere if you go away to school or travel).. and the notifications can be turned off, the option is only available for those who want to get updates while away from their computer..
Would you mind if I posted your pick up games for others to see? maybe it'll bring out a couple more people to your games..

No problem.. you can post our game on your application. I only ask that you add a note indicating to email billchaupiz@hotmail.com to confirm day they are attending and how many people.
We are trying to keep games organized as best possible.
