Thu Apr 17 -- A bunch of us are going to go to the Deer Park school turf field near St. Clair, and if/when it is too crowded we're going to go over to David Balfour park, a few blocks south of that.

I'm going to try to make it to Deer Park by 5pm, others probably won't arrive till 6pm, we might not be at David Balfour park until 6:30pm - depending on how quickly Deer Park gets overcrowded.

(Update - there was 8on8 until a little leage group arrived to practice, and then it was 3 teams of 6 half field, then 4 teams of 6 half field, and then the last half hour before darkness it was 8on8 full field)

Update: It was awesome! I got there around 5:15, and it was 6 on 6 and 7 on 7. Then it got to 8on8 and maybe for a short while 9 on 9. Then as people left it was 7on7 again, and finally 5on5. Just two teams! No rotating.

Update: There was around 7 adults against 5 youth and 2 adults. It was pretty good, the youths had some skillz, although they sucked at getting back to defend their own net Second week in a row with only two teams, hope that keeps up.

At 6:30pm two teams with a permit to play a real league game (ref and all) came along. They were really nice about it, they didn't kick us off until their exact permit time started, even though kids and parents were arriving at 6pm.

Anyways a bunch of us went over to Balfour where with 4 new arrivals we played 6 on 6 for a half hour, then 3 on 3 for a half hour. It was a bit windy at Balfour, and being cold and overcast - it was almost too cold to play.
