Iranian powerhouse, Persepolis FC will play Brazil's most prestigious and popular club team, Santos FC in an international soccer friendly. The game will be played on field turf. The roof will be open for the match, weather permitting.
Both teams feature impressive lists of stars. Persepolis will have Iran?s 1998 World Cup hero, Karim Bagheri along with Hamed Kavianpour, Mehrzad Maadanchi, Ali Anarian and their newest international star, striker Mehrdad Oladi. Santos will feature such stars as Mauro, Paulo Cesar, Christiamo Avalos, Altair, Carlinhos, Fabinho, Ricardo Bovio, Ricardinho, Giovanni, Basilio and Douglas.
Rogers Centre would like to remind all guests that they may be subject to a search upon entering the building. No video cameras, fireworks, flag poles, alcoholic beverages, cans, bottles, controlled substances, weapons, projectiles, laser lights or any items established as prohibited by security personnel, are allowed into the building. Personal cameras are permitted. To ensure that your visit is pleasant and safe, Rogers Centre reserves the right to deny access to any guest whom does not comply with Rogers Centre's policies.
